Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all purchases of original artworks by Martina Braun / Cream Imperial, made through this website or by direct enquiry.
Original works of art
Every artwork sold by Cream Imperial is an original, handmade work of art by Swedish artist Martina Braun. Each piece is one of a kind — no editions, prints or copies exist.
All purchases final — no returns
All artwork purchases are final. As each piece is original and/or made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Photos and videos are always provided for approval before payment and shipping. Once the artwork has been approved, the purchase is considered final.
This does not affect your rights in the event of damage in transit — see “Damage in transit” below.
Inspection on delivery
You are responsible for inspecting the package at delivery, before signing the delivery slip.
If the crate or packaging shows any damage, you must note this on the delivery slip together with the courier, take photographs before opening, and report it to us immediately with photos and/or video. The courier's records are the basis of the insured-shipping claim, so a signed, undamaged receipt cannot be the grounds for a later transport-damage claim.
Do not refuse delivery — accept it, note the damage, and document it. The artwork is fully insured and will be replaced if the claim is confirmed.
Damage in transit
Every artwork ships fully insured. If damage is confirmed by the courier or the insurer, the artwork is replaced with a new one at no additional cost.
Please report any claim immediately on delivery, with photographs and/or video of the crate, the packaging and the artwork.
Commissions
Commissioned works are made to your specification: size, colours and intended space are agreed in writing before creation begins.
Photographs and video of the finished artwork are provided for your approval before payment. No payment is taken at the start.
Once the artwork has been approved and paid, the commission is final and the piece is prepared for insured shipping.
Shipping & delivery
Artworks ship worldwide, fully insured and tracked, packed in a custom wooden crate with professional packing materials.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary, particularly for large-scale works and international destinations. Any customs duties, import taxes or local charges on deliveries outside the EU are the customer's responsibility.
Authenticity
Each original artwork is sold with a signed letter of authentication by the artist. Keep it with your purchase documentation — it confirms the work's origin and provenance.
Copyright
The copyright of every artwork, including its imagery, remains with the artist. Purchasing an artwork does not transfer the right to reproduce it. Reproduction, commercial use or public display of images of the artwork requires the artist's written permission.
Care & condition
Each artwork is documented in photographs and video before it leaves the studio and is delivered in perfect condition. Care guidance is provided with every purchase; following it is the customer's responsibility after delivery.
Questions
If anything is unclear before you buy — size, colours, materials, lead time or shipping — please ask. I am happy to answer any question before your purchase so you can order with confidence.
